Techies Go Green, together with DataSolutions, is delighted to be announced its next sustainability webinar “Be Prepared For What's Coming Next: EU & UK Sustainability Legislation and Its Impacton Thursday, 28th July at 10:30am as part of our Summer Sustainability Series.

This is the 2nd episode in the DataSolutions & Techies Go Green Summer webinar series. We will be joined by two leading experts from Greenpixie and Dublin City University (DCU) who will discuss both the existing and forthcoming corporate sustainability legislation at both UK and EU level.

The last episode in the series featured Citrix and IGEL, How the IT industry can Shape a More Sustainable Future. These two leading IT vendors discussed how they are fostering sustainable behaviour among their distributors and reseller partners.

As more and more organisations put sustainability at the heart of their strategic planning, what do businesses need to do to prepare for the forthcoming legislation so that they can take advantage of the opportunities and mitigate against risks in the supply chain and ultimately not get left scrambling to catch up!

Key topics covered in the session will include:

  • Existing and forthcoming corporate sustainability legislation at both UK and EU level

  • How organisations can prepare for forthcoming requirements

  • Consequences of non-compliance

  • Key deadlines and timelines
