About Our Speakers

Andy Miller

CEO, Folens

Andy Miller has been the CEO of Folens for close to 7 years, moving from his role as Sales and Marketing Director, which he held since joining Folens in 2015. Folens is the largest Educational Publisher in Ireland, serving both the Primary and Post-Primary Market. Folens content ranges from textbooks to digital resources for teachers and students, as well as the much-cherished Folens Christmas Annuals.

Andy has championed the Folens Goes Green initiative that began in 2022 to see how Folens could challenge our industry in thinking more about what we can each do to take responsibility for our own individual Green awareness and turn this into actionable items. The mantra was to instil doing is far better than talking.  Andy is also the custodian of the Folens Giving Fund, which very generously gives back to the local community and beyond to projects that have the widest reach in Education.

Prior to joining Folens, Andy spent over 25 years in the Tech industry, having worked predominantly in the Infrastructure and Managed Services space, holding positions from Head of Sales to Sales and Marketing Director in several organisations. Andy has held the role of Chair of the Irish Education Publishers Association (IEPA) for the past 5 years and is actively involved in talks with various Government stakeholders to ensure that the IEPA play their part in delivering the highest standard of educational content to meet the needs of the classroom today.
